QuizDown

Last updated 12 October 2026

Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Kieser Group (Pty) Ltd (registration number K2026245126), trading as QuizDown (“we”, “us”). By playing QuizDown you accept them and our privacy policy.

Who can play

You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You must be 18 or older to buy anything.

Your account

Playing fair

No cheating (bots, scripts, looking answers up in real time, sharing answers in a live match), no harassment, and no abuse of reports or submissions. We may remove content, reset scores, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. We’ll tell you why, and you can reply to the address below.

Questions you submit

If you submit a question, you confirm it’s your own work, and you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, edit and publish it in QuizDown. You keep any rights you have in it. Questions submitted before 4 October 2026 stay under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence they were given under.

Sparks and rewards

Sparks, envelopes, cosmetics and other rewards are earned by playing. They can’t be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and they have no cash value. The odds for every envelope are published in the shop.

The Press Pass

The service

We work to keep QuizDown running and fair, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, or that every question is correct (please report the ones that aren’t). We may change or stop features. If we close QuizDown, we’ll refund the unused part of any paid membership.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, or any liability that can’t legally be limited. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending this agreement

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. Tell us about any problem first at support@quizdown.app; most things are quicker to sort out that way. If we can’t sort it out together, you can go to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission (thencc.org.za), and you keep every right to go to court. We’re not a member of any industry body or code of conduct.
